ONA were recently completed a tow consulting scope on the Woodside Greater Enfield Project on behalf of TechnipFMC. The scope comprised tow planning, procedures, stability, and tow load path engineering and verification of multiple voyages. Each tow formed part of the mobilisation of equipment and permanent materials from Singapore.
Typically marine transportation scopes in the Singapore region are considered benign tows and do not require significant input. However due to more stringent project requirements ONA Consultants were requested to provide additional risk and tow planning to overlay our engineering and stability scopes. The resultant tow plan and dossier provided a robust engineering basis and flexible format for easy execution by the project. The work was completed by our Perth office and included support through planning and execution phases and ensured the project readily met Company and marine warranty requirements.
ONA have long supported Technip, on at least 20 other similar scopes and other tows out of Singapore and the West Australian coast, over the past 10 years through our Master Services Agreement.
